![]() Rome 2's artillery looks too big to me, compared with the size of the soldiers. I prefer the size of the artillery in Rome 1 and Medieval 2. I also prefer the colourful and easy to distinguish battle user interface in Rome 1 and Medieval 2 (command buttons, easy to distinguish unit statuses on unit cards, and fast to read unit statuses when I mouse over units), easy to distinguish unit types and faction colours for units, and the fact that there are banners for routing units in Rome 1 and Medieval 2 (so I can hunt them down more easily). I reckon they are more epic, because they happen before the battle. I prefer the pre-battle speeches in Rome 1 and Medieval 2. some of the pre-battle speeches and the descriptions for character traits and retinue - which have colourful pics, instead of 2-colour ones). I prefer the humour in Rome 1 and Medieval 2 (e.g. I prefer the building and unit descriptions Rome 1 and Medieval 2 (which are easy to navigate through, and include the strengths and weaknesses of units, so we know better how to use them in battle).
